Chapter: Fashioning Intra-Feminine Fascination: The Costumes of Glenn Close
OSCAR-nominated actor Glenn Close donated her costume collection, comprised of over 800 costumes and accessories, to The Elizabeth Sage Historic Costume Collection-part of the Eskenazi School of Art, Architecture+Design at Indiana University. Costumes from the following films: Fatal Attraction, Dangerous Liaisons, 101 Dalmatians, and Stepford Wives. Designers featured include Anthony Powell, Ann Roth, Ellen Mirojnick, James Acheson and Consolata Boyle. A study of the quality of these outfits and explores how Close considers costume as essential to creating her stage and screen characters.
